A season like we just had, as frustrating as that was, or a season like KU?
Jayhawk fans have got to be devastated, but we aren't exactly doing cartwheels either.
Pick your poison.
 
In other words, would you rather die of a long, drawn-out terminal illness or get shot in the back of the head and never see it coming? I'll take the Conference Championship behind door #2.
 
Pick your poison.. Both are hard to swallow. I think ours is a bit more difficult. Just from the fact of trying to figure out what went South. Take one game when your shots don't fall and that just happens.
 
KU played very good ball all season long. They didn't for one game. We played terrible ball for many games. I would take KU's season although their hurt is probably greater.
 
That number 5 for NI had balls.

Hell when your expected to lose of course you play loose. Kind of like Boise against OU..
 
I think most KU fans will take it in stride. They know they'll be back....and soon. If the KU shoe were on the Longhorn's feet yesterday, I think we would all be a lot worse off, as a fan base, this morning then they are.

I compare it to how I felt after losing to Alabama. I know we'll be back in that game often.....and very soon.
 
Running 6 games in a row in the NCAA Tournament is a very tough thing to do for any team. That is why conference championships and conference tourney championships do mean something. But, hey, Rick Barnes is more concerned about putting kids in the NBA.
 
Why would you not take the Kansas season over the Longhorn Season? You enjoy losing over and over and being the butt of jokes all the time?
 
I think our season was just about as painful as one can be, unless you go 0-30 or such. KU has to have a rosier outlook for the future than we do.
