What to expect from BU game on Wednesday?

So, Baylor is 10-2 and ranked somewhere around 10 in all the polls. Their big wins have been over UC Irvine and TCU. What should we expect from this game? Is Jungmann going to pitch for the Horns and will Baylor send out their Ace and try to get big win on the road?

I don't think we absolutely have to win this game but I want to see Tucker back in there and playing well. This game does not count in the Big XII correct?

I expect rain. Lots of it.

And that Austin Wood will close it out if it's close.

And Chance might even pitch an inning or 2 so start hyperventilating now and avoid the rush.

I hope Austin Dicharry throws too, he's 'the hardest pitcher to hit in practice' a players dad told me this weekend.

We ought to treat this game like it's a one game playoff, as a team and as fans.

But there could be explosive flooding.

I believe that you are correct that this will not be a game that counts in the league standings. I like that both teams agreed to play a non-conference game like this.

it's Jungmann's turn but Dicharry has been the mid-week guy who needs to get back on the horse. Jungmann by a nose, maybe a 'declared start' like we do against the Owls mid-week sometimes with Austin coming in for the 4th or 5th.

I hope Augie's pauses to reflect on Jordan Etier's weekend play at least, before he pencils in #2 back in his leadoff spot. Stanford's grass and dirt field played beautifully and Jordan was flawless. Maybe it's a good thing that Stanford's team was the groundskeeper!

Good to hear Tucker will be ready for this weekend. I think giving Etier the reps will be good for him anyway.

The weather looks like it really going to suck on Wednesday. Hi of 65 with rain. Hope it doesn't get cancelled. We need to kick some Bible Aggy ***!!!

Since it has not rained much in Central Texas in the past 18 months bring the rain on Please, major drought in Austin area. I do not expect baseball to happen Wed. thru Saturday according to the latest forecast which is very wet.

#1 - Midweek games are almost never must win.
#2 - I hope we don't get rained out.
#3 - A double-header with Mizzou on Sat would be awesome.
#4 - I agree Etier deserves playing time, but not in front of Tucker, if he's healthy.

Did I see Baylor ranked #5 this week? This would be a great matchup for a mid-week game, but rain is now in the forecast at 70%, unfortunately.

P/C, I have no idea about that rule but it sounds familiar. However, I would love to see a DH on Saturday as well. Here's to getting all the games in this week

I never get tired of both that video and the video of Omar's throw to the plate against Rice. I put those up there with 4th and 6th. Hookem!

Baylor Nation will be alive and well at the Disch tomorrow night. You might get a little of this:
The Link

* as a side the Brazos runs behind the wall. The streaker swam across the river, police in chase, to the get away car on the other side. His sign read 35-34 (the score of the Baylor football win over Aggy earlier in the year).

Looking forward to a great game. #1 vs #5.

If they are pretty sure the weather will cancel the game, they will try to make the announcement prior to Baylor traveling down here. But if the weather is iffy, it will probably be a game time decision. That's been the case in the past.
I don't know how sure the rain is for this evening.

We haven't had much rain in Round Rock the past few hours. Does anybody know when the next set of rain is coming though?

If we do have a game, it will be freezing
