what to do with pickled jalapenos?

An old friend of my wife's family gave her a couple jars of home-made pickled jalapenos, habaneros, and something else I can't identify (some other pepper, I guess).

What do I do with these? Can I just pull a few out and put them on a burger or sammich? Are they mostly for toppings, or can I use them in a recipe somehow?

They look something like this:

Chop some up and add them to every conceivable side dish:

beans, peas, mashed potatoes, rice, green beans, greens, sauteed veggies, corn, mac and cheese, baked potatoes, etc.

Impossible to mess these up.

What they said and when you are done use the liquid to inject into some chicken or turkey before you cook it.

Chopped japs are also great in eggs, grits and mixed into meat loaf or burger patties.

I will do all of the above. Thanks.

And I never would have thought to use the juice like that. That sounds like fun.

All right, last night I chopped a few up and put them in tacos. They weren't as hot as I was expecting, but I only used a few since the smell was so strong. I will use them more liberally next time.

BTW, there are also carrots in the jars.

I guess they pair up well with pickled japs.

onions and carrots are VERY common with pickled japs.

My recommendation if they aren't that hot is just to eat them straight out of the jar with a fork... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
