What to do in New Braunfels

Coming back to Texas this summer by spending a week in NB then five days in San Antonio at the in-law's. Trying to think of things to do with my 7 YO and 13 YO while in NB (our time in SA is already accounted for). Below are the obvious ones:

Schlitterbahn
Tubing on the Comal
Landa Park
Tubing on the Guadalupe
Schlitterbahn again

What gem(s) am I missing that Central Texas has to offer? What about a day trip to San Marcos, especially if we get rained out?

And the over/under is 5 hours.

Join Bat Conservation and see if you can get on a trip to see a bat flight at Bracken Cave.

It only took 22 minutes for someone to mention the snake farm. My over/under was waaaaay high.

It's not far from NB to Seguin to see The World's Second Largest Pecan. But that's not all, Seguin also has the ZDT Amusement Park and a public wave pool at Starcke Park.
