Why not have common sense immigration status checks before employment? Why have immigration laws or Homeland Security departments if they are not going to be used?
If Homeland Security is not going to do their jobs then there is no need for a Homeland Security department. Either do your job or give up your job to someone who will do it. Or the Senate and House should prune their budgets by 10% per month till they start.
Maybe under fear of losing their jobs they might start enforcing the law? What is the Homeland Security budget anyway?
