I don't really get the need to pay for this info on one or more of the recruiting boards. After all, one goes to the site; sees the photo of a large person wearing a Rockdale t shirt; and then googles Rockdale Offensive Tackle. There you have it.

Kinda looks like he has lots of room to grow, but, hey, if you can get a good one at the last minute, go for it. I still don't understand why we can't recruit a good JUCO. (Pause, wait for the group think statement: "At Texas we don't recruit JUCOS.").

How often have we gone the JuCo route if it is group think? Compare that to other programs. I will spot you some room by not including Kansas State.

Mack has spoken out on this before. He does not like it, he does not trust it. The chance for success at Texas would be small and he does not want to play those odds. It's not group think, it's fact.

Things could change on an individual basis but as for policy, I think the numbers speak for themselves.

Not interested in the policy. This year, when needs are unusually greater, is there not one JUCO player that would fit the bill?

Don't reach for an OL. Go after a quality prospect and the best available at any position or wait til next yr. Rome's OL wasn't built in a day.

Um, I'm sure that Auburn is pretty happy they decided to take JUCOs (....Fairley and Newton), but yeah the results "speak for themselves"......

Looks like the coaches are trying pretty hard to get Spencer Drango away from Baylor. I wanted that guy since last year. He's as good as anyone we have committed now, other than possibly Flowers, and I mean that as a compliment to Drango, not as a slight to our other commits.

LSR has him listed at #54 in Texas. However Rivals has him as the 211 overall prospect, the #23 overall OT, and #29 overall in Texas.
