What kind of a name is 'Poona?'

I did take my moniker from the C & C skit.

I am now wishing I hadn't posted this. If someone will save me by finishing the line form "Fletch," everyone will calm down....

Actually, I knew the place name Poona, as I am from India. May be that is why I never found anything odd with the name. By the way, it is one of the nicer cities in India.

But I did check the urban dictionary today and found that the word has some... shall I say, "interesting" meanings, of which I wasn't aware

I learned quite a bit of stuff today from this thread. I knew of C&C but didn't know of "Basketball Jones".
 
Once when I was in Parador I had too many Punas, as they spell them there. I don't remember much but there sure was a pretty moon over it.
