I just had dinner with the family that I'm living with in Buenos Aires while I look for an apartment. Fortunately I've gone running the last couple of nights and played soccer the night before that, because I don't think that dinners like tonight's are going to help me with my fitness.
What is the nutrional value of this-

DRINK:
water

APPETIZER:
none

MAIN COURSE:
1/2 plate of penne pasta (or rigatoni) with a tomato cream sauce
1/2 plate of penne pasta (or rigatoni) with a 3 cheese sauce
BOTH covered with parmesan cheese

SALAD:
none

VEGETABLE:
none

SIDE:
toasted piece of a baguette

DESSERT:
chocolate pudding

QUESTION:
Was there any nutritional value in what I ate for dinner?

PS- The food was delicious, but...

I think a cup of pasta is around 350-400 calories

Parmesan cheese is around 25 callories/tbsp

You could probably tack on another 500 callories for sauce, depending how much.

Say....1000-1400 calories depending on portions "1/2 a plate" is pretty subjective w/out knowiing the size of plate.

Oh, forgot about the pudding and bread. You probably blew past 1500-1700 calories. Sounds tasty, though.

You got tons of starchy carbs, not much protein. Zero veggies and fruit isn't bueno either.
