1. Defense - huge stops. Huge. Elite RB killerz
2. Bijan - that’s all. PS dudes got a heck of a stiff arm and spin move
3. Sweat
4. David Gbenda/Overshown/Juju
5. WR dropped passes- could have broken this game open
6. Really aggressive last play call
7. The counter play. And it worked
 
When Bijan went out I feared he’d busted his hand. Took a helmet right on it from what I saw and held it all the way to sideline. Any comments on tv coverage?

None! They didn't even notice it even though it was obvious his hand was hurting.
 
Defense had best game of year even with the really soft pass defense Texas keeps running out. Sam has rough day and it didn’t help that his receivers had some huge drops. Off week ahead so hopefully Coburn and Moore get healthy because you don’t just walk into Lawrence and expect to win.
 
I do think that the Defensive scheme is new,add Covid restrictions to a new system and maybe the D is learning?

OU would/will see a different Texas defense if they both make it to the Championship game.

We will also see a different Spencer Rattler.
 
I listen to him while at game too. He talked about him going to side line but I missed if he gave any update. From watching him go to side line I wasn’t sure he’d come back in.
 
Bijan looking more comfortable finding the holes and hitting them hard.

Team stayed on the field and walked towards the student section for the eyes. Jubilant was everyone.

I also think I seen more of those high fashion tents this trip. I swear they have multiplied in the last two weeks, both on riverside and under the I35 overpass. So lovely.

I noticed that as well. Bijan lead the team in rushing with 113 yards. He has the makings of a real super stud running back! Looks like we have the "team" back! Or at least I hope we do. The score was too close and WVU's last drive had me worried. But it all worked out good.

Check out 290 where it crosses I-35 and becomes Koenig Lane by the old Highland Mall. I bet those hoity toity neighborhoods just west of there are happy. I see a lot of fencing being built around the houses.

Wow! Has Austin become some sort of homeless haven? Where are all these folks coming from? I had read that they were hanging out in town, but not in tent cities.

It’s hard to exaggerate. 183 underpass between I-35 and MoPac is like one continuous tent city.

I seen”, and Texas is undefeated when I write that, so I’m riding this horse.

What I saw today was a team learning and improving under new offensive and defensive schemes that they didn’t get to practice in the spring. I admit I’ve been hoping we go get a home run hire but I’ll take a tiny step back and see if this progress continues. I thought today was this teams best game of the season (UTEP doesn’t count ).
