To this site? I recall back in the day it was the happening place and you couldn't keep your thread on the first page in a single day unless it was an instant classic. Now you can just scroll down and see days old threads literally 5-6 posts down?

*and yes the thread on OB referencing this site got me thinking about this question....

Many other longhorn sites to choose from, in my opinion. A fracturing of the user base.

Some of them have gained traction, like Orangebloods, others seem to be struggling, like 24/7.

I like this site. More thought provoking civil discussions and less BS. Some of the others remind me of an old AOL chat room.

Of course I am still prone to say some things that I probably shouldn't.

I didn't see those posts and, even if I had seen them, it's not worth it to me to jump thru hoops to resolve an issue I only have on this one single website. I just mute my speakers when I come here.
