They sat down with their mom and dad and worked it out. They have figured out how not to be in a dating relationship, but they have vowed never to ignore their brother/sister bond

After months of it being postponed for a number of reasons, we finally settle the matter soon.
I'll let know what happens.
I can tell you this, if you live w/ someone & they use your information to pay off debts even month after you've broken up & moved out, you're SOL in getting your money back or having any relief from the banks or any of her creditors because of an established relationship that can't be settled until you go through the court system & earn a judgement.
So, basically, they can use any means to pay bills until you earn a victory in court & the banks/phone comp/cable bill/whatever will not do a damn thing about it until then.
You basically have to change everything in order to keep your money due to a prior relationship.
Crazy ****!

No, I changed bank accounts as soon as I found out but I cannot recover any monies paid for any of her personal stuff because we had a prior relationship & she was on some of my closed & changed accounts for cell phone service, cable, basically all home & business stuff pertaining to my job.
I fly around quite a bit & she stayed at the house & paid the bills while I was away on business.
She had faarrr too much access & thats my fault but legally, I cannot recoup any funds she paid on her personal stuff until a court decides she didn't have permission.
Just me closing my accounts & taking her name off everything & starting over w/ everything under my name isn't enough to convince the people getting paid in that time that I didn't give her permission to pay her own & seperate bills due to the fact at one time we actually lived together.
It's pretty much a ****** up deal.
It'll be settled one way or another but I am going to court in her town which is about 100 miles away in smallsville Oklahoma.
I have a local lawyer who use to be a prosecutor in that town which should help (fingers crossed) but her attorney is a close friend of hers who happens to be a big enough power broker in that town to represent that local D1 University in most heavy legal matters.
Namely a future HOF basketball coach currently being sued.

Not a good spot to be in as an older metro-looking city slicker who took advantage of a poor, young, hot homemaker who happens to be a voter in that community.
Even if her job was to cook & clean & give up *** while paying my bills.

why am i the first to point out, that, by definition, being a sooner makes you crazy, thus having a GF that qualifies as even "crazier" is just par for the course.......

So, acting married is as costly as being married. Not a lesson I can use, but a lesson for sure.

Best of luck to you, 73.

Are you the guy in the commercial who pulls the beer bottle lever when the screen says "JACK'S ANGRY GIRLFRIEND"?

yea she moved onto paul mccartney.

since73, on the bright side, you could've been dating a crazy greedy one legged bytch.

Today was the day we went to court & it didn't last long.
Her lawyer made his opening statement followed by my lawyer & after we both took the stand to testify what had happened the judge decided to take the advice of my lawyer & demur the suit all together.
Which is a term I didn't know until today but basically means it was a frivolous lawsuit & thrown out before we actually went into detail about the case.

Get this, living expenses from MY OWN BANK ACCOUNT that she wrote checks on but was trying to claim it was actually her money & not mine even though it wasn't her house & we had joint bank accounts.
She shifted all sorts of money around in 3 of my (our accounts) & tried to claim that was actually her money & not mine when she wasn't even working & lived 100% off of my money.
Said she was paying it from her savings account & I contributed nothing even though it was my own house.
I travel pretty much all over the place & she was in charge of the bills while I worked & she stayed at home.
Just goes to show you people can sue for anything.

So you didn't countersue to try a get any money back? I'm sure she's judgment proof. Can you now go back to the banks and demand your money back? I'm confused.

I would at least ask for a summary judgement to recoup your legal fees. She may be judgement proof, but her attorney that filled the frivolous lawsuit probably isn't.

I don't believe Since73 was married to her, which made the story even crazier.

Congrats on the win, and a bigger congrats on being finished with the matter and hopefully never havign to see her again.
