What happened to our defense?

We were holding every opponent to a score in the low 50's and a shooting percentage under 40%. What happened? Not much to be ashamed of scoring 67 on Nebraska or 89 on Colorado, but allowing 70 and 91 points? And now Kansas State is on pace to score about 70, and they're shooting over 50%.

I'm not a basketball guru, nor did I watch the Colorado game, so I dunno what's been different. Can someone tell me what the hell is going on?
 
Not sure? Pretty obvious Texas peaked too soon. Tonight they are facing a very good team. Texas cannot hit a shot that is what is hurting them tonight, less than 30 percent from the field.
 
Our offense looks scarily similar to last year's team. Little movement, not screening. Panicy, and out of control. Outcoached and out played by the ksu wheat aggies, and their psycho coach. it sucks.
 
This team has melted down. We lose our final game to Baylor, likely lose one more in the tournamnet. We will be lucky to get out of the second round in the tournament. This is starting to get old watching our teams implode.

Oh come on now, don't give me that "we've peaked too soon" crap. The truth is we are and probably NEVER will be a basketball school. Clearly, our ranking this year was ridiculous, because we are proving how bad we are for the second year in a row.

I'm beginning to believe we need a new coach.
 
Texas is 24 - 6, they are not getting a new coach, Barnes has taken this program where it has never been. If this team is fatigued like I am hearing this explains their poor shooting and their defense not being very good recently. Kansas State played well last night, they are for real. I will take a Pullen on my team.
 
our offense has gone cold from the outside and wheat aggy actually has more than one or two people who can score.
 
It's only going to get tougher next year with Chapman, Brown, and Wangmene as the only "sure" returnees. Barnes will earn his bones next season.
 
Everyone for KSU played to double digit minutes.

Lucas 6
Wangmene 4
Hill 9
and Wangmene missed the previous two games
 
The little thing I have notcied the past few games is in our man-to-man we have too many times where someone comes over to help someone out & leave their man open for easy shots or dribble penetration.
Need to be more disciplined & stay with your man. If you get beat, you get pulled or you get matched up with another man.
