I see that miracles occur, we hit three's, they miss a ton of free throws, we get the ball with 5 seconds and a chance to win with a deuce...and then no shot?

I should clarify, I was watching the gamecast on ESPN, not the game...so I actually don't know what happened...not sarcastic "what happened"...

By the time Johnson gathered the rebound and found AJ, he had time to take a few dribbles and launch one from beyond half court. It was right on line, but hit the front of the rim. I honestly thought it was going to fall.

If there were such a thing as kharma, A.J.'s heave would've fallen to make up for Harangody's miraculous (read: ********) bank-shot three to beat the shotclock earlier in the half.

As for what happened, the others already answered it, but I'll add this: where was the defensive intensity that we witnessed in the final 45 seconds the rest of the game?

Our Lady almost doubled their turnovers in that span because they couldn't handle the pressure. We're deep enough that conditioning and saving energy shouldn't be factors.
