What do you drink with your Q?

Preferred bev: Big Red.

Next available option: Fresh / home made type lemonade.

Then: Tea, unsweetened, sugar & lemon added to taste.

Finally: Water with 3 wedges of squeezed lemon & no sugar.

I'm sure a lot will pull various beers & vino...

If I'm tapping a beer, it's more common fare such as Lonestar or Tecate / Dos Equis / Carona (I'm not much of a beer or alcohol drinker for the most part & I'm sure you can tell by these items).

wow, i haven't seen anybody drink a big red in ages. weird seeing 2 of the first 3.

for me, an average joe beer or water/gatorade.

On a side note:
RE: Big Red.

If your smoking some pork ribs, and you use a wet rub, add some Big Red to the sauce.

also if your making a ham, use a little Big Red in the glaze.

if i am at a que joint, i like to eat it with a cheap beer i normally wouldn't drink at home -- like a lone star. last week i had a plate at taylor cafe with two miller high lifes in those old school bottles. it was perfect. if not beer, then plain iced tea with a lot of lemon.

queing at home, i am filling up the recycling bin with shiner bock longneck bottles.

i found the big red choices interesting. i've never tried it.

Iced Tea.

In fact, except for breakfast, I think Tea is the perfect drink for just about any meal.

Big Red just doesn't do it for me. Dr. Pepper is much better.

Non-alcoholic: iced tea, although a Big Red can be sublime.

Alcoholic: embarrassing amounts of beer....seriously, like GakFoo said, I'll fill up the recycling bin with empty Shiners, Coors Lights, Sierra Nevadas, Real Ales, what have you.

Usually depends on where I'm at:
Home - Shiner Bock, Lone Star, or Budweiser
County Line or Rudy's - Iced Tea, sweetened with lemon
Salt Lick - Whatever's left in the cooler after floating, usually Coors Light, Tecate, or Keystone

Funny, when I saw Big Red, I assumed you were talking about a big California Cab and I wasn't sure if I would enjoy that. Big Red, the soda, with Q is classic.

When I read the title of this thread, I immediately thought Big Red. I was curious to see how many others listed it. I'm pleasantly surprised.

I don't drink Big Red any other time. But I'll buy 2 longneck glass bottles when I'm at Kreuz's. It's perfect with bbq.

I downed 3 big Big Reds while grilling/eating yesterday.

For alcohol, I like me some Lone Star or Fat Tire. Depends on my mood.
