What do you do with all those address labels?

I feel guilty. In fact I felt so guilty a couple of years ago I put cash in the envelope and sent it back.
Stupid me I did not black out the bar code so later I got a thank for your donation note with a calendar!
:idk:

You mean the ones they send unsolicited, in the hope you will give them a donation?

I keep them and throw the rest of their garbage away. If they are dumb enough to send me useful free stuff, I'll keep it and use it. Mrs. Sangre and I donate our charity $$$ to those organizations that we have vetted and feel comfortable with, and we will not be swayed by any free stuff sent to us.

Only place I get them from is Cal Farley's, who sends them regularly, but then, I send them money regularly and have nearly 40 years. Still, I shred the excess.

Yall must be going back a few years. I can't remember the last time I got those. Who mails anything anymore? Practically everything I used to mail is now online.

So you're saying it works...on you? :smile1:
He admitted it in the initial post. His trouble going forward is that now he fell for it once, that "charity" is going to share their successful strategy with every other "charity" partner they have and he will be inundated with more address labels than he could ever use.
Who mails anything anymore?
Older people, and they are often the most gullible about sending money to these "charities" without vetting them.

Hey SN
Watch it:argue:
It was StJude
And they helped a former player's son beat cancer which was wonderful.
I tried to do it anonymously so I'd never get them anymore.

I'll give you credit in that St Jude is at least a legitimate charitable organization. But still, prepare for more charities to start flooding your mailbox, not all of which will be at St Jude's level of trustworthiness.

2 years ago was the first and last time I sent anythung33
Even though as you point out St. Judes is very legit
They saved that former player's son's life.
Bad form of leukemia.
So I thought they deserved it
