Seriously, I gave up the rat race and ended up doing a part-time temporary gig for the last ten years. I drive a bus. I also get great benefits, just short of 3 months off with pay, choose my own hours and ride a bike to work for a commute of under ten minutes. I listen to satellite radio, have great conversations with cool people on a myriad of topics, have tons of eye candy to make focusness tough and I get to laugh at the idiots on the road.

I cannot think of what it would take to get me back into a suit or an office, to be honest. I have had offers in the past (when the economy was better) for higher paying jobs but y'know what, you cannot put a price tag on quality of life. Zero stress at work equates to a better life, tyvm.

Tell me in the past that this would be a job I would do and love and we may tussle. I don't know how you office types do it but you do it. I cannot. I mean, I can but I choose not.
