i have at least 15 baseball caps in my room (1 cross canadian ragweed cap, 1 LA dodgers cap, 1 brooklyn dodges cap, am a dodgers fan; the rest are UT caps). what do i do with them? i have a couple of them hanging on my wall via some tacks that are used to hang up a flag and a UT pennant. and i have 4 on my speakers in my room.

but i have at least 10 more right now just sitting on my floor. i used to have 2 sitting on the tv and the rest sitting on my speakers but i rearranged my room (i share a house with 3 friends) and that doesn't work anymore....

do i throw the rest into my closet? is there any way to store them?

Not to be an ***, but shouldn't a "How do I clean my **** up" thread be directed to your mother rather than Horn Depot? Ok, I do want to be an ***.

I've got about a billion of them on the shelf in my closet. I'd have to say that about 75% of the caps I acquire never spend one public moment on my head.

I probably have about a hundo caps, going back to college.

Bought a rack on the internet to hang them all. Works well. All my buddies try to get one when they see it.

I've always had a about 20 or 30 hats and I finally said **** it, tossed all but about 6 of them. keep a Texas hat (non UT, so I can get a new one...I gave away my last one during the final minutes of the Rose Bowl as an offering to the Football Gods), 3 Yankee's hats (one is now retired to Fishing only status), and ACL hat, an NHL hat and Sun City South Africa hat.

Take 'em to Shorty's in Port Aransas.

Miz Rose has a couple thousand tacked to the bar's ceiling & has room for more. I'll be taking a Hefty Bag full of my old caps to her on my next trip down to Port A.

Throw a chain over your hanging rod in your closet and let if hang down as low as necessary. Attach s-hooks to the chain at intervals. Hang ballcaps on s-hooks.

It's cheaper than most of those pre-made hanging racks, and works just as well.

i have a few that i have worn in public just like 2 times. i have some that have been worn so many times they are beyond discoloration. it would pain me to trash them. :)

my 'breaking in method' used to be playing tennis in them during the summer. i don't play as much tennis. it is surprising how fast that method breaks in a cap. 2 times in the SA or austin summer heat = 1 football season. <G>

I don't have a lot of caps but I buy them cause they look good but not necessary look good on me. I'm very conscious of the bill. I used to wear caps backwards but now I don't give a ****.

If you want to make some old men's day, take a bag of them over to an old folks home. Those guys love wearing caps, and to get to pick out a new one really makes their day. I've probably gotten rid of 50-60 this way.
