Who is Zaycoven and why is he going to Aggy?

Whaa? indeed. It does seem like the word is that he just committed to A&M. That is TCU early, then to Texas. Then to Tech yesterday. back to Texas this morning, and then to A&M by evening.

I think this kid must be crazy. At this point, unless we know what exactly he is doing and why, we should just walk away and let him go to aggie. This kind of drama doesn't sound good for the future. I am sure Charlie has a fair idea after talking to him today.

Meanwhile, let us get 1 or 2 Florida DTs and move on!

I'm confused. I thought we were in a dead period until January 15th.

Two things. One) Phone calls are allowed during the dead-period (ONLY one per week from a university). No in-person meeting of the recruit. Absolutely no text reply even if the recruit texts you. he can email and Texas can send an email reply. Can mail him printed material too.

Two) Zaycoven is trying to enroll mid-term. So he has only a couple of days left to enroll somewhere, as the semesters start. Something is confusing the kid badly, and he is freaking out, most probably (the only thing I can figure out!)..

He did talk to Charlie earlier today, after which his HS coach said he had recommitted to Texas. Now, Texas cannot talk to him. Not sure what he is confused about or why he doesn't want to just enroll. Nobody knows why he told Tech coaches that he would enroll there yesterday, and why he told the same to A&M this evening!

Weird drama. If he still enrolls at UT in the end, great. Otherwise, best of luck, Zaycoven. Was nice knowing you

The Quiet Period for Spring enrollees is slightly different than for Summer/Fall enrollees. Ther are a few normal Quiet days that are open for their recruitment/contact.

Rivals lists him as an aggy commitment.

I think this young man wants his own "line up the caps and guess which one I'm gonna pick" show on signing day.

As mentioned, Henderson is a TAMU commit. In addition, Rivals shows him as having signed a LOI which he would do in order to enroll and participate in the Spring semester.

I wonder if he would have stayed with UT had he known that Rumph from Alabama would be the new DL coach.

Timing was not in our favor.

Good Luck Zaycoven....except against UT if UT and A&M ever play again.
