Gunman Shoots 3, Police Shoot Him

This is less than 1/2 mile from my house and in the same neighborhood as the school where I teach and my son attends. Second drive-by in 2 years. Not what it was when we moved to this area in '87.

How far west do we move? Pretty soon east San Antonio will meet West Houston.

Its becoming too expensive for most of the bad element to live inside the Loop. They're not gone yet but their living options are becoming fewer and fewer.

they can move out to the West side for cheaper apts.

If only HISD would improve as the inner city neighborhoods come back to life.

The morons that run HISD / DISD / FWISD ought to be kicked out of education.

Graduated in 1987, there was a gun shooting at Langham Creek when it first opened and a stabbing at JV in that time frame. I haven't really been back since my second or third year in college. It was getting pretty bad back then, it seems as they finished out 290, and completed the Sam Houston Toll road is when it really started to go down.

Or course I know live in Dallas, voted the safest neighborhood in the country, Highland Village, Texas.
