This story is absolutely fascinating to me. Just to be clear, I don't find this story interesting because of what this Detroit trial judge did. Finding a politician who does something stupid is not noteworthy. This kind of crap happens every day.
What is noteworthy is this guy's attitude. This judge is married (problem) and texts an almost nude picture of himself to a female employee (big problem) who is married (even bigger problem). When confronted, does he deny it? Is he remorseful or sad about it? Not at all. He thinks it's funny, brags about his physique, and freely giggles that he sends photos like this to women regularly.
I'll give the Wiener credit. When confronted, he at least had the shame to lie about it, and when he was nailed, he was remorseful and admitted that he lied because he was embarrassed. This guy? No shame at all.
The guy is so friggin' arrogant that he thinks he can't lose no matter what he does. That's how dumb he thinks the public is, and he's absolutely right. My prediction - if he runs for reelection, he wins - and slam dunk.
