We're Just Not Good At Presidential Motorcades

Here in Dallas. Apparently, a motorcycle officer was killed escorting Senator Clinton's motorcade when he crashed into a concrete barrier.

On a side note, Senator Clinton cut short her campaign event(s) in Fort Worth to come back to Dallas to express her condolences to the officer's family. I think that was a nice touch.

All you hear about are officers killed in crimes. Far more officers are lost during funeral processions than defending crimes. Inherently dangerous work.

I have the o/u on 1 week till I get an email from the anti-Clinton tinfoil hat wearers adding this officer to the list of people that the Clintons had killed. I am sure they will say the Clinton's to try and help her campaign somehow....

I'm not a motorcycle person, so maybe someone with more experience can enlighten me. It seems like motorcycles would be terrible for motorcades which often go very slow making balance much more difficult.
