I don’t know much about Marquette. I know they lost to UConn 47-79. They have significant wins over UW Green Bay, Georgetown, and DePaul.

They did lose to Cincinnati – a team Texas beat in the Surf-N-Slam tournament…..Ooops. Forgot we were told to not bring that up.

Good catch, Outlook. I went to the Marquette site and looked for common opponents and didn't see any....missed Cincy.

Careful there, Outlook. Our leader didn't much of you bringing that up.

Marquette looks like a pretty well balanced team in scoring and rebounding. Won't be able to focus on just on player. They are not tall, only three players 6-1 or taller. Height wise, we got a bit of an edge, but overall, pretty close. Got four players at 5 rpg or just over and one at 4.9 rpg. No dominant shot blocker. Four with 40+ steals. They don't turn the ball over that much.

Should be a very good game. Could go either way, depending on whether our guards are hitting their shots. Two of their posts don't shoot the three much but have a good percentage (over 40%) on a combined 11 attempts.

Can't wait for Saturday!
