Whatta ya say? Two thirds of the series, team losing game #1 and winning game #2... WINS GAME #3!

We got 'em where we want 'em, now!
 
We got an 11-3 ace pitching against us. We have our number 2/3 guy going and we continue to make errors at a prolific rate. We are not in the drivers seat, we are still very much alive but we are only alive on the amazing performance of Jungmann who will not even sniff the mound tomorrow. Lets not count any chicken before it hatches.
 
i agree...they are due to hammer the ball...if only we had closed it out last night.

It's strange to think that we dominated almost all game last night, and all game tonight, yet we're 50/50 on taking the championship.

We have to take what's ours!

Before the series, a lot of people were saying that a Game 3 would favor Texas. I agreed then, and that hasn't changed.

This championship is ours to lose now. I think we're going to find a way to win, as we have all post-season.
 
This LSU pitcher has already been media annointed as the 6'7" intimidator, better than Sandy Koufax in his prime, we are indeed doomed. Our motley collection of Bad News Bears rejects will have little chance, but hopefully we will still show up.
 
I really like our chances well. I don't think anyone at LSU would have seen last night coming and that had to be a hard loss. Our pitching has been able to control the 3-4-5 hitters. LSU is batting .212 in this series for a reason. I like our chances with Cole on the mound tonight. Last night only proved that LSU is human.

I know late in the game they said Taylor had a sub 0.8 era, anyone know what he finished the night with???
 
Cole Green will be masterful tonight and Texas will bring home their 7th national title. I have never been so sure of anything.

One other thing to consider is that Texas is 2-0 in elimination games in this tournament, while this will be LSU's first test of the entire post-season with its back against the wall. They may or may not be able to respond well to that, but we already know WE will respond just fine. That can only add to our team's confidence.
 
I agree with FWHorn. I don't think we are in the driver's seat per se, but we're certainly not in the backseat either. I like our chances.

It looks like a coin toss to me. Hopefully they can avoid all the errors of late. If so I will feel a lot more confident. But shutting the bats of LSU down back to back will be tough.
 
I think this game will be incredibly close. Probably go into extra innings. Neither of these two teams are appreciably better than the other in my opinion.

I can't wait to get it started!

They're over-confident now, aren't they? Got 'em right where we want 'em. They're gonna **** when that 8-run ninth hits 'em!
