Well, if you take the word of an Austin lobbyist and insider, Wendy Davis will run for Governor. Link.
Frankly, I think this is a smart move for her. She was barely reelected to her Senate seat in a district Romney carried by 8 points, which means she had significant GOP crossover support. By digging in on a hard line pro-abortion stance, it's doubtful that she'd hold that support in an off-year election (2014). In other words, she's done in the Senate, and if she ran for reelection to the Senate and lost, that would spell the end of her political career.
By running for Governor, she's going to draw tons of national media attention and motivate the hardcore Left. She's still going to lose, but she'll become a big national Democratic darling for "fighting the good fight." Accordingly, she could get appointed to something by Obama, or at a minimum, she could become an "analyst" or even get her own show on MSNBC. Either way, it's better than just getting kicked out of the Senate and never being heard from again.
