I think it's ridiculous schools are allowed to use Cowboys as mascots. That's blatant racism against Cowboys. They need to be exposed and be forced to change their mascot immediately.

Yeah. I get that cows have the freedom to choose their gender, and it is insulting to all bovine types to just assume that cows = female, but it is equally insulting to presume that all cows identify as boys too. So I really don't have a clue what I am saying, but we should protest it to show our solidarity with, uhhhh, with something.

My family are Cherokee & Choctaw, and enough blood to qualify for members to get free 1800 sq ft brick homes. Catch is they have to be in Oklahoma. Adidas offered to "rebrand" PNG for free - equipment, uniforms for all sports and band. The superintendent told the guys from Adidas that he was going to make two calls - one to Texas Rangers & DPS to get them a safe escort out of his town, but he suggested they go east into Louisiana because the second call was to a friend in Houston, and he assured them if they went West, they better get the Anahuac exit before he got there. Then, "Get the **** outa my school, get the **** outa my town, get the **** outa my country, and get the **** outa my State".

As for the "woke" dumbasses, ask them where in the hell they were when the FDIC/FSLIC/RTC were trying to steal billions from the BAI. They are so damn concerned, they are not even aware a problem existed. If they had, I would have run their stupid asses out of ABQ and DC. Publicity seeking, do nothing/know nothings seeking a free ride. Let them try to start by changing the funding policies of the BAI.

FWIW, I had the privilege of addressing the Tribal Council of the Northwest a decade ago. I showed up in Wranglers, white oxford cloth button down, Navy blazer (monogram buttons of course), Leddy boots & hat. My opening state was, "Gentlemen, my family comes from the Cherokee & Choctaw Nations, but no one in my family is hyphenated and never will be, we are 'Indians'. If that offends you, take me back to the airport."

Problem for PNG is the communities & citizens have changed. Most of us died or moved away and have been replaced by people who don't care about the pride, tradition, history associated with Gordan LeBouef and Bobby Laborde, Jackie Hathorn, and later Coach Etheridge and his teams. I would tell you if they change, I'll burn my Diploma, but I have no idea where it is.

I say it each time this kind of news pops up, and I'll say it again. In a few decades, the woke crowd will claim not enough sports mascots are named after minorities, and we'll see the swing to rename something traditionally white like Cowboys or Vikings.
