Weird/uplifting voicemail from 247 area code

I got a strange but nice voicemail today from some guy telling me how "important and appreciated you are to me and others". It was a live voice, not a recording. The number I received the call from was (247) 478-6277. I live in Houston and apparently I'm not the only one in the area who has received this message.

Has this happened to anyone else on here?

Actually - yeah - got one a week or so ago from the same area code, for my 13 year old son, saying they "saw what you did helping out and wanted to say thanks and that it was appreciated". Lostboy3 is a good kid, and is always helping out, but when he listened to the message he could not think of one thing he did recently that would warrant that call. Just regular stuff like helping clean up after swim meet, helping around the house, etc.

And the beginning of the message said specifically that the message was for Lostboy3, so not a generic message. Weird, but nice. Creeped me out a bit too. He did not recognize the young female voice either.

Wonder what is going on with that?

They called our home phone, not cell.
