weekly rate hotels

I am between apartments for a couple weeks, so I looking for a hotel that I can rent by the week. As cheap as possible is the key here. All I need is a bed, a bath, and a door.
Any suggestions?

Extended Stay is about $179 $249 a week but there are alot of places that will give you a weekly rate.

Ok, heres the deal: Anything over $17 a night is too expensive because It would be cheaper for me to stay at my mom house in San Antonio, and drive to Austin and back, everyday.

that might be tough. there's a place in the arboretum area called Marriot Towne Place Suites. when my apt burned down i stayed there for a week, and they gave me a rate of about $35 a night - apparently you can kind of bargain with them, b/c a friend of mine stayed there last minute wants and they gave her a good deal too, like $40 a night plus an upgrade. it's nice and has a little kitchenette thing too. it's on cap of texas near mopac, just before braker

We had a consultant come in to do some work for us and he booked that Homegate place on 35 and Riverside for $24/night on priceline. You might be able to use that and get an even better deal for a week.
