Weekend Getaway - where should I go?

I just received a 3 day 2 night getaway that includes air and hotel. The available destinations are Seattle, Orlando, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Diego, or Salt Lake City.

Any feedback/suggestions on which destination to choose would be appreciated.

It'll be me and the wife going. No kids. My first thought is Chicago and maybe a trip to Wrigley. I've been to Chicago, Orlando and San Diego before, but haven't been to the others.

Thanks for the help.

I'd probably choose Las Vegas because I love to gamble. Plenty to do and 2 nights/3 days is perfect. However if you're not much gamblers then maybe elsewhere. But the shows are great as is the site-seeing.

This is how I would rank them:

Chicago
San Diego
Seattle
Las Angeles
Orlando
Las Vegas
Phoenix
Salt Lake City.

Can you stretch a little more time out of it? Use the hotel if you must, but Zion National Park is well worth the trip.

Stunning is all I can say.

That said, I'd take Seattle because I've never been, however I don't know what your transfer & layover situation might be like. I guess if it only added a couple of hours each way you might be able to make it without much added time.

That said, the Wrig sounds cool...

to me, it depends on when you're going and what you like to do.

if hiking or stuff is your thing and you live in Houston, going to Salt Lake in August might be a great trip.

if the trip is in Nov or Dec, then maybe San Diego or Phoenix

i'd go with vegas. it is unique with great people watching, dining, entertainment/shows, and sure you could gamble some too. you can't go wrong with any of those cities really, but san diego is also fantastic. wouldn't do orlando without the kids.

Thanks for the input. Most of the suggestions are similar to my thinking. Looking at the couple of threads on here about Chicago makes me think that its the leading candidate right now.
Also, I didn't mention that it also includes tickets to a sporting event: mlb, pga , nascar (no thanks) or possibly nba. This is another reason for Chicago and Wrigley. Of course, there is that Horns game in Orlando in Sept. Hmmm...

hold on a second you didn't mention tickets to the sporting event, now i say go to orlando and the horns game at UCF. first game for UCF at a nice, brand new stadium. that alone would make the trip a success, and then you can pile on other stuff, trip over to the beach.

Yeah, i didn't mention the sporting event initially cause I didn't have any details at the time. The UCF game seems like a no-brainer. The only catch is the restrictions say it must be booked at least 60 days in advance. I'm trying to see if I can get that waived. If not, I'm not really interested in Orlando.
