Recruiting action and news should pick up tomorrow Jan 16. Will be interesting to see impact of new coaching staff on existing commits and new recruits. Coaches have been able to talk to recruits but no in-person contact has been allowed for a month.

Big unknown is CS impact on current roster and size of 2014 recruiting class.

Two weeks of recruiting fun is ahead!

Don't see how he can focus on recruiting without an OC.
I hope he has a plan.

CS can focus on defensive recruiting with the full staff in place there. That means guys like Edwin Freeman, Solomon Thomas, Otaro Alaka and hopefully a few DB's and DT's. Offensive line will be easier too but the offensive skill position recruiting will surely be harder without an OC in place.

Per experts, this is a lean year for OL and good class last year plus good start on 2015 should compensate.

Would like to see one or two top DBs and a DT or two added to the existing class plus locking in the cream of the existing commits.

4 Star WR Coutee decommitted - said he hasn't heard from anyone on our staff which is troubling...

Appears another Texas commit committed to TCU today as well:

TCU was the first show to offer a scholarship to Emmanuel Porter from Lincoln, and he originally thanked them by committing. The four star wide out was swayed by the Texas Longhorns last June, however, and he subsequently pledged to the Longhorns.

Porter flipped his commitment back to TCU Wednesday according to HornedFrogBlitz.com of the Scout network.
