web browser question

[Mean Mr. Mustard]

it seems almost every time i go to espn.com or cnnsi.com, my internet explorer gets locked up. now, if i quickly click on a link from the home page and go to a story, it's fine. but if i just sit on the home page, i get locked. i haven't had this problem with any other web sites. does anyone know what the problem might be? does my computer just not like sports sites?

I'm not sure, but I do know that every time I go to espn.com, my firewall goes nuts. I can't remember the warning it gives me right now, though. I think it may have something to do with the "My ESPN" stuff. I don't know about CNNSI.com, though, as I never go there.

the espn site is extremely bloated and even more if you have the espn motion installed.

use the "lite" version of espn if espn.com is too much to handle.
