I disagree. Vince was a star long before the 06 Rose Bowl, but he was a college football star.

I'm still hoping he can prove critics wrong, but so far, he's been giving them fuel rather than dousing the flame

Didn't Rivals have VY as the #1 QB coming out of high school? Even if it were somewhere between #2 and #10, wouldn't that qualify for being a star? Here in Houston, his high school performances are legendary.
