do you have any confidence at all that our defense can stop colorado, oklahoma, missouri, oklahoma state, kansas, or even aggy (jerrod johnson looked good today) even twice in a game?
 
We get more then 2 stops obviously, but regardless, I think we can score on any of them which was the point of the post. None of the others played anyone either.
 
This post got off track. The point of the post is that we can play offensively with any team in the Big 12. There has been a lot of talk about Mizzu, Tech, and OU that their offenses are not stopple. My point was we can move the ball and score with any of these teams and based on what I have seen this year, to win we will probably have to outscore them. Colt is having an unbelievable season and I think he's going to have to carry us until the DBs get better.
 
Obviously a Rice English major is needed in this thread.

Otherwise, eh, whogivesaflyin? The first 3 games of the year are preseason. You can certainly tell who might be solid or a bust at a particular position, but otherwise, it don't mean ****. There's something to the fact that the team has looked fairly consistent and seemingly slightly better each week, but against ****. Sorry, don't give me some "Rice is not a bad team" drivel. They're a nice small team with no chance of playing with the big boys. Gaining more yardage against this team or that until about week 4 is meaningless.

BTW, Buffalo is a pretty decent team. Turner Gill has put together a rapidly improving squad up there.

Other than that, eh, all meaningless.
