I'm not totally satisfied because there was more "there". However, my attitude and frustration after the MD debacle and speculating this team might finish at 6-6, I've come a long way. To finish 9-4 and play for championship is gratifying. Still have a shot at a bowl win that will further aid recruiting.

Hook em! :hookem:

And #15 in the latest CFP ranking

15. Texas (falling one spot)
16. West Virginia
19. aggy
24. Iowa State

We could’ve won them all. NOBODY dominated us. Next year we”ll have one of the top returning qbs in the NATION and no matter what CJ and LJ do, some STUDS at wr and TE and on defense.

We're losing all the starters in the DL, two linebackers starters, our cornerbacks, our nickel back, starting guards and we're going to lose some physicality at tight end. The redshirt OL/DL classes look potent and we recruited great at DB last year. But the strength of our incoming class, like the strength or our returning seniors, is at wider receiver. I think 2020 is the year we start contending for the playoffs, Sam's senior year and the when Brennan Eagles and Jake Smith will be the all conference receivers in the best wide receiver conference.

9 wins with a chance at 10 in bowl game was huge step this year, if Texas holds on to recruiting class it already has and adds a few pieces that will be back to back top ten classes and while I tend to agree that 2020 is real year for next shot at CFP I do think next year should be another 9-10 win season and continued growth of program and they will contend for Big XII and another New Years Six bowl.
