It was quite a claim for a movie directed by a porn veteran, produced by a convicted huckster, led by actors who claim they were duped into the roles, and promoted by a collection of anti-Islamic hatemongers and almost comically crackpot preachers.

Sure enough, U.S. intelligence agencies almost immediately concluded that the Libyan attacks had been planned well in advance of the riots, and Clinton’s initial impulse to blame “Innocence of Muslims” became the stuff of a thousand congressional hearings and ten thousand Fox News segments.

Pretty outrageous if true. Threatening the arrest of a film maker on a pretty relevant political issue should be an instant disqualification from running for president. Not to mention the intentional lying to the families of the victims and the public. Of course, Hillary will continue to benefit from a sympathetic press who will never push her to answer any of these questions.

I don't understand the comment, "if it's true". I, and I'm sure many on this board remember this narrative being sold early on. I also remember, upon hearing that the attack was due to a video, being totally skeptical. I even did some research on the internet trying to understand what had happened in the early days, and knowing something smelled very fishy.
I also remember Candy Crowely, backing up BO in the debate against Mitt Romney about what was reported in the Rose Garden.
Finally, just a few days ago I heard 2 parents and a brother speak about what Hillary said to them over the caskets of their son.
The mother was furious, but the father seemed quite sincere and calm in his stance that he wasn't trying to politicize the situation. He even produced a small diary he carries at all times and I saw that he had written the exact words highlighted by Zork above in his diary/daytimer, amongst other matters of the day.

He asked the question everyone should be asking: What do these families have to gain by lying about what was said in the hangar? What does HRC have to gain? I can't fathom the gall she has to call these people liars.
I can't believe the Republicans, or even Bernie Sanders are not all over this situation. It is a travesty of incompetence and lies. Quit whining about where Ted Cruz was born, or playing games about New York values, and let the US get angry about this situation, instead of sweeping it under the rug.

When I said "if true" I was specifically referring to the threat to arrest the film maker. I had not heard this before, and it is pretty outrageous even for Hillary.

The film maker was jailed. The feds called it "probation violation", but anybody with any sense knows it was done to keep the best face on the Obama/Clinton narrative about the film being responsible for Benghazi.

I can't believe the Republicans, or even Bernie Sanders are not all over this situation.

Republicans are too busy pissing on each other and trying to prove who thinks Obama sucks more. Sanders isn't going to jump on this because he'll be accused of lending credibility to an alleged Republican witch hunt. That'll piss off partisan liberals. It's sad, because the real bad apple (HRC) essentially gets a pass because of blind partisanship and shallowness on both sides.
