After our lackluster performance in OKC we might as well just accept reality.
Rider University?! - "The guys that plowed through Marist and Canisus like it was Red Park’s fighters at Midway" (to quote a fellow Hornfan shakin' in his boots....
They only gave up a single run in a 4 game series against Maryland Eastern Shore?! 16 wins out of the last 18?!
That Rider ace pitcher is licking his chops and is gonna pick our bones and leave us half dead to face U-La-La Saturday morning. We will be forced to pull ourselves out of that mudhole and fight like the dickens for the right to face a Wayne Graham Rice team that will have the luxury of saving their ace to the third game! Doomed we are!

I'm just doing my best whistling past the graveyard strut, glad that my Horns are facing the daunting Rider Broncs instead of facing CERTAIN annilihation at the hands of the dreaded Wofford Terriors had they been picked to go the Austin.

Woof, woof, Wofford tough. (best aggy imitation I can do on the spot)
 
Rice's offensive stats are very impressive, 91 homers, batting .327, one dude has hit 23 homers, several guys have hit over 10. They are averaging almost 10 runs a game.

Don't be surprised to witness the Horns win a nailbiter against Rider. Those quality lefties can give our guys fits.

OTOH, don't be surprised to witness a 10 run blow-out either. You just never know.
 
On the bright side, we're so awful that our loss on Friday will probably count double and we won't have to face the mighty owls. Oh the humanity!
 
Might as well go see Sex and the City tonight, it would be less painful than the humiliation of tonight's debacle! We're doomed!
