I honestly was considering betting on this game if we were favored by less than 6 --- imagine my surprise that KSU is the one that is favored by 3 1/2 points. Yes I know this is that 'trap' game that everyone is fearing and that we are 'bound' to drop another game before the end of the year.

But if we were talking about Dook, UNC or UCLA there would be none of the above talk because they are expected to win all of their games. I think this Texas team is still peaking and getting better with every game - I see no letdown tonight especially this close to the end of the season.

That being said I got love & $$$ on our boys tonight - have won this season on them against KU & OU - hope to finish out the trifecta tonight.

You're going against the flow if you take the Horns, which is a good thing. If they packed the defense they played at home last week, they should be in good shape. If not...
 
Hell, Bob, if we can dribble penetrate like Baylor did we should be in great shape. I like the match-ups this game affords, but I am also very, very wary of us coming out flat.
 
Defense was optional for K-State on Saturday.

But teams play differently at home in situations such as this, if they have the talent to hang, and K-State definitely has that.

However, KSU had to play much harder in losing than Texas did in winning. That should be a second-half edge for Texas.

Two weeks ago, even after UT beat KU, I was skeptical of this game. Now I think K-State will have to take it away from Texas.
 
Having some post presence on both the defensive and offensive end leaves me feeling okay tonight. The perimeter is a huge mismatch. K-State is a great team for Abrams to re-discover his stroke against.
 
Hayden, part of that difference between KSt being a fav and UT being a dog at Baylor is a drop in power rating by Baylor since they had lost something like 4 of 5 or 5 of 6 when KSt came to town.

Anyone thinking Texas would have been a 6 point fav here is astonishing to me. I would love to win this game big but there was no way we would be that big of a favorite on the road against KSU.
 
I'm not betting the game but I would lean KSt here. They've backed themselves a little bit into a corner with some bad losses the last couple of weeks. Combine that with getting a big name team coming to town on primetime national tv and that's often the formula for a team playing their best game. Great test for Texas.
 
We've been disgusting at home. 5 of the 6 teams we've played at home this year left with their worst conference loss of the year.

That being said, you guys did have vince young a few years ago, so that should help.
 
I foresee this game being a fight to the finish. I'm worried about key players for us getting into foul trouble early. More than that though, I think AJ has to knock down some threes for us to win.
