Had a really neat line graph showing the data above but couldn't copy & paste it.

Either program would be a very good addition to the Big 12 in WBB. Guess we will have to wait and see which one, if either, is in. Wouldn't it be a hoot if Norte Dame joined the Big 12 in all sports except FB? Their WBB team would fit right in.

I think the Big 12 should just go ahead and add both West Virginia and Louisville regardless of what Missouri does.

Looks like it's WVU to the Big 12. Can't find a forum for their WBB. I think it's merged with their MBB but very little talk about WBB. Too bad Louisville has such a poor FB team otherwise they might be the ones coming in.

Louisville had their chance to join the Big XII. McConnell getting involved at the last minute made himself, Louisville and Boren laughing stocks.

WVU is great...welcome!

WVU head coach Mike Carey will be entering his 12th season this year, if I counted right. WVU has been strong defensively, ranking high nationally in various defensive categories. One area where they will trouble fitting in is attendance. Last season's average home attendance of 3103 was only the second time they broke 2000+ per game attendance. That 3103 would be better than only OSU and KU last season. From 2002-03 to 2009-10, they averaged 1479 per home game.

They will be a tough out though, as they have averaged 23 wins a season. They look to be a strong replacement for Mizzou on the court.

Mike Carey's quote:

""For West Virginia to continue to be a major player on the national scene, this is a great move for us. I have researched the Big 12 and what they've done over the years and they are a very competitive conference on the women's side. They are national contenders year in and year out.""

I would think "they" refers to A&M, Baylor and Oklahoma?
