I don't follow women's basketball that closely, but i was really surprised to hear that Brittney Griner passed on the Olympics.

She claimed her summer school schedule and family matters as the reasons, but there's rampant speculation that it was due to the gender testing required at the Olympics.

Probably has something to do with her adam's apple.
 
USA struggled early and it was the fourth quarter before they pulled away, beating Croatia 81-56.

Whalen played well in her first Olympic game.
