Old Soap Creek Saloon when it was on North Lamar. I remember it well watching such acts as Delbert and "Freda and the Firedogs" featuring Marcia Ball and Alvin Crow.

I've read that they almost used The Eyes in the high school graduation scene in The Last Picture Show, thinking it was the State Song. Somebody caught the error at the last minute.
