Talk about making the most of an opportunity to shine...Kristen was HUGE in those last seven and a half minutes after Cokie and AG fouled out.

8 rebounds in 18 total minutes...also huge (and second on the team for the game)

I was glad when Coach G pointed out her stellar performance!!

I think she gets overlooked a lot....she's just super!!

So glad she will (may?) be back next year!!!

Also how 'bout that EARNIE "WARRIOR" WILLIAMS!!??

She stepped up BIG TIME, taking Coach's challenge to be more of an offensive threat seriously!!

We would have lost the Tech game without her, and would have possibly had a harder time without her yesterday!

She is another one that we are lucky to have again another year!!

big props to Kristen!

i about lost my mind when AG got her 5th foul...which was a total frustration foul about 90 feet away from the basket. but i was so glad that Kristen went into the game and got it done, both defending Griner and rebounding the ball. she plays with a lot of heart and hustle, night in and night out. both Nash sisters were all over the boards at the end of the game, and that made a huge difference.

I’m really happy for Kristen – first that she got an opportunity to make a huge difference in a big game – second that with no one left on the bench to give her a break, and with 9,000 people watching, and more on TV, she took full advantage and helped Texas seal the win. It seemed like everyone on the team had a moment when they stepped up and made a difference. But, no one missed Kristen’s moment. The eyes of Texas were truly on her.
