Watching in Europe

Most sports bars will have the ESPN America channel, which is usually the top ESPN/ABC games on Saturday. There's also sometimes "ESPN America 2" or something like that, which will show whatever regional games are on. But that was kind of spotty to begin with (most places don't have it). If the game's on FSW or LHN, you're out of luck.

If you have family in the US, buy a Slingbox for them and just watch it online wherever you have an Internet connection. Your family won't notice the difference with the Slingbox connected, and you reap all the benefits. My friend has been a missionary in Asia for about 6 years and he rarely misses a Texas Rangers or college football game, because he's basically watching whatever Time Warner Cable box his family watches at home.

So, if every Hornfans member pitched in, we could buy a slingbox for someone that actually has LHN. That way, we can finally watch it.

Question- if you have satellite dishes in the EU, can't you get ESPN America at your house in Europe? Plus all the other sports channels from the USA?

I would think if a Brazilian can do that here, or a German etc, couldn't it work the other way?
