Wouldn't it be better if the regular season were a playoff? If Villanova receiving their first loss had already eliminated them from contention, that would make the rest of their regular season a lot more meaningful, right?

Villanova and UCLA should be glad that they lost early in the season. THey can make up lost ground with "style" points.
