That is unbelievable. What the hell happened there? That guy in the green to the left must have let out a sigh of relief.

The guy's helmet and shoe flying and not to mention his badly contorted body at about 10 feet in the air to the top left scare the bejebers out out me.

That pic is a rough one. Bike shops and safety groups should use that picture, gruesome and maybe morbid as it is as a tool for awareness for cars AND cyclists. Granted, the cyclists did nothing wrong, the car did. But it is a picture that may stick with people and get a point across.

I read the driver was drunk and asleep at the wheel. Tragic, and in Mexico, he will probably pay some official a few hundred bucks and get it swept under the carpet.
