Washer pits in Austin?

I'm looking to put a washer pit in my backyard, but do not want to order a kit online. Does anyone know where in Austin I could buy one ASAP? (especially the Longhorn logo kit)

I would just build it myself, but I have a couple of big parties we're planning at the house within the next couple of weeks and I just don't have the time. I'm looking for fun things that people can do while hanging out and having drinks. I'm not a video game guy, and I already have a badass darts setup in the gameroom. I thought about horseshoes, but I don't want to tear up the yard that much. Any helpful suggestions are appreciated!

1) cornhole
2) ladder golf

i built both this summer. each cost about $60-70 to build and are a **** ton of fun. you can purchase the games online (woodgamz.com ships within 24 hours), if you dont have the time to build. i saw an 'eddie bauer' version of ladder golf at target the other day for about $50.

It took work, but I built one from scratch and it's been a huge hit.

I got dimensions/rules by consulting the innerwebs. Then I dug up sod (nice bit to transplant to help elsewhere) for the two pits. Did just a bit of leveling and tamping (mixed in some sand since my soil is very loamy/clayey). The two holes are pvc we cut to about 4 inches or so and hammered into the ground. Dug the dirt out of the middle, painted one set of washers, cracked open some beers and been having fun ever since.

As an added touch, I lined both pits with some white thermo brick. Makes the court look spiffy and makes maintenance easy.

Montag, pics if you will. I am thinking ot putting in a washer pit and a horseshoe area. I don't have grass at this time, not in the good way at least, so I am not worried about messing anything up.

I have a suggestion depending on your yard. Bocce Ball. It is really fun and 2, 4, 6 or 8 people can play. Some friends bought me a glow in the dark set that is awesome.

i built washer boards a couple months ago. took about 2 hrs (most of that getting the carpet on there nice and tight). they have horn washers at the co-op.

Goddamnit, washers is played with ONE HOLE at each pit.
You damn kids and your 3 hole washerboard ********, it's an ABOMINATION.

We always tailgate in an area that has dirt. That way we can play real washers, not some Yankee bastardization of the sweet game.

I'll get some pics up.

And amen to the play anywhere sentiment. I have a kit for my tailgate. It's two pieces of pvc, a small pick and a mallet. I grab the washers off of the tree by my home court. We just pace off the distance, dig the holes, tamp in the pvc and get busy.
