Was Tucker Carlson fired for Political Expedience?

I enjoined his show and knew he was a lightning-rod but did not see this coming. If your show is opinion-based, shouldn't you have some latitude? Other networks allow that (as long as you keep your pants on).

That check will get a lot larger with the losses of viewers and subscribers on Fox Nation. Fox is talking about Lemon getting fired while CNN celebrates the firing of Carlson. They have each lossed touch with viewers.

Winner will be NewsMax.

Maybe, but people also said that when Bill O'Reilly left Fox News. They're a big network with a ton of money. They'll bring in another talent to fill the same role, and most likely they'll be fine. (I think Carlson will be fine too.)

Winner will be NewsMax.

If Newsmax isn't bankrupted by Dominion.

I know that, but why was Tucker the fall guy when others called out Dominion?

He's not the only one. Like I mentioned, Dobbs was the main subject of the lawsuit, and he was already canned.

And I don't think the settlement was the only reason Carlson was let go. It was a reason, but it probably wasn't the reason. There were likely others.

I do agree that Tucker will be fine. Whatever happens will probably mean more time for reading and less TV. Good thing.

I wonder if Newsmax will be allowed to do discovery. Probably not.

In my opinion, NOTHING. This is the equivalate of Dylan Mulvany for Bud Light without the bathtub scene. As stated earlier, I now have more time in the evening.

Peter Tucker might be an option...

Just read that Tucker was not named as a defendant in the Dominion lawsuit. Can anyone confirm? Something else is going on.

Do you have a link specifying the restricted discovery? I'd like to know details.

Another thing I forgot to show you. Only one computer expert who's an outsider got to look at the Dominion machines. His report on the machines was sealed by a leftist judge. While he saw no direct evidence of tampering in 2020 he said the machines were vulnerable. Judge to decide if report on voting machines can be public

As I said before the audit team in Arizona found over 30+ incursions that occurred in the Dominion machines. The problem with all of the "lying" **** is that Powell could be right about all of this.

Tucker is a right wing dissident who labeled the Democratic Party as evil in a speech this weekend. This is an act of the regime taking down an opponent. It unmasks the reality of Fox News alignment.

He's not named, but he doesn't have to be. When you sue a business, you can sue the actual employee who does wrong (and sometimes there's a reason to do this), but you don't have to. You can sue under the doctrine of "respondeat superior." I won't bore everybody with an extensive discussion of that issue, but it generally makes a business liable for the wrongful acts and omissions of its employees in the course of doing the employer's business.

It's one thing to be a shamless partisan hack. ...and another to keep at it after being outed as an insincere partisan hack. It was more entertaining when Fox viewers believed he believed the lies he was peddling.

I know that Tucker was partisan, which he did not hide. What lies did he tell?

He acted like he believed something on the air about Dominion and Sidney Powell and then said it was BS in private communications. Same with Lou Dobbs. It's what got Fox into trouble.
