Warehouse district resturaunts

I was just wondering what resturaunts are in the warehouse district that are somewhat upscale with the best food for a resonable price.

I've never ate there, but my buddy works at Saba on 4th/Colo. i believe. It's pretty nice lookin joint, I went there and got drinks last weekend, but didn't eat. The kitchen closes at 12, but my buddy says they have some dope *** food.

They're all pretty pricey (for Austin).

Saba might be your best bet. Or the Bitter End. Neither is at the high end for the area in terms of price (or quality).

Truluck's is probably the best restaurant.

Haven't been to Kenichi or Cuba Libre.

Sullivan's is OK for steaks, but there are better steaks in town. I've even heard that the steaks at Truluck's are better, which is interesting, because it's a seafood restaurant.


WAIT: Scratch all that. If Starlite is open, go there. I used to go to their original north campus location fairly regularly, and it was outstanding. They moved.

seriously, best steak i've had in austin has been at trulucks. have em throw on shrimp and crab meat on top of the filet and wow.

Fleming's is also right down the street and excellent, but you're SOL on the reasonable price there.

Malaga is a tapas restaurant right next to Saba. I freaking love that place. They have this beef plate that is amazing. and the roasted potatoes. and the spinach emapanadas. mmmmmm. getting hungry. prices there are pretty reasonable.
