Want Alabama?

Bring them on. Unless Alabama gives up one of their FCS or low FBS cream puff's this will not happen anytime soon.

I'll say this for Saban, he always tries to schedule a "marquee" game with a BCS team. Now... it's usually a team that's got a name but isn't necessarily a top tier program, and that certainly fits us right now. So let's get it on the books this year while we're still unknown, and make it a big-time heavyweight game by the time it rolls around.

Helpful map for the away game

We'd never lost to 'Bama until the Rose Bowl that fateful night.

That doesn't mean I want to push our luck though. Hopefully these games would be well down the road to give us time to get on our feet.

Yeah it seems this would be 4 or 5 years out. That should be a year in to the next coaching administration.

You never know, but I'd say the timing is lining up well...based on the proposed timeframe (in 4-6 years).
I believe a few things will occur soon:
1. Saban (and the media, society at large, etc) grows weary or bored or both
2. Alabama loses its recruiting luster
3. Alabama has to work harder to make the CFP and likely loses more
4. Texas returns to prominance and is a force again
5. I believe we will start generally trending up and they will generally trend down.(there's nowhere else they could go...other than sideways I suppose)
I'll go ahead and predict we will eventually supplant Bama and painful talk or memories of 2009/10 will become "See..we beat them now and would have beaten them then, also." (which...though illogical carries more weight than just "we would have beaten them")

....And world peace will reign, there will be no more cancer, and truth and love will rule the earth...

You forgot the last point:
6. All games will be played on social media with no actual players on the field. It will all be "virtual."
