Wangmeme has been playing with the Cameroon team in Afrobasket for the past couple of weeks.
He was the youngest player on the squad and didn't get much playing time until yesterday, when Cameroon was beaten by Tunisia 83-68 to fall to 4-5 for the tournament. Wangmene played 18 minutes, went 3/5, scored 8 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, blocked a shot, and helped Cameroon outscore Tunisia 35-30 during those 18 minutes. Cameroon was outscored 53-33 when Wangmene wasn't playing.
Before yesterday's game, Wangmene played more than 5 minutes only once and played in a close game just once, both being the same game--an 84-80 upset of Nigeria, which had Gabe Muoneke coming off of a 33 point game against Angola.
