The VB walk-on tryout was on Sept 17th, three weeks after the season started. Jerritt Elliott says NCAA requires all teams to have open try-outs - so I wouldn't expect BB or VB to think that anyone would really jump out at them. Only if a team is depleted and might need someone for the practice squad would she really get a shot, in most years.
