Those guys seem pretty tame on the wackiness scale. I remember a local sports guy back in my student days named Vic Jacobs (I think, that was his name) who was truly out there. One of his most memorable moments was the time he went out to a meatpacking plant a day or so before the football team was playing Arkansas to "show what the Longhorns are going to do to the Razorbacks". He then proceeds to fire up a chainsaw and he goes to town on a pig carcass. Great TV...and he was right too. We beat the crap outta Arky that year to the tune of 33-7.
